Thomas Banks, Director/Co-Founder
Mr. Banks, is Co-Founder of SplashPlay, Inc. and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Company. Prior to the founding of The Original Quiz Glass, Mr. Banks founded and managed diverse enterprises including: Aperture Health, Inc., an innovator in on-line health and wellness, guideSMART.com, a world class B2B Internet portal and Web community employing a franchise distribution model, Santiago Data Systems, Inc., which he founded and ran from February 1980 until March 1997 specializing in sales and marketing of health care practice management software.
Steve Dafnis, Director/Co-Founder
Mr. Dafnis, is Co-Founder of SplashPlay, Inc. and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Company. Prior to the founding of The Original Quiz Glass, Mr. Dafnis had a diverse business background including: Visual, Inc., an advertising & marketing firm specializing in video advertising for professional practices, Aperture Health, Inc., Vice President of Sales, California First Leasing Corporation, GMAC Commercial Mortgage (ABL unit), GE Capital, and Heller Financial. Mr. Dafnis holds an MBA in Business.
Maurice J. DeWald, Director
Mr. DeWald’s business experience includes serving as Chief Executive Office of Verity Financial Group, Inc., a financial advisory firm serving both the healthcare and technology sectors. Mr. DeWald also serves as a director of Targeted Medial Pharma, Inc., Healthcare Trust of America 1, as Chairman of Integrated Healthcare Holdings, Inc. and formerly director of Tenet Healthcare Corporation, ARV Assisted Living, Inc. and Quality Systems, Inc. Mr. DeWald served as managing partner in Orange County, Los Angeles and Chicago for KPMG, LLP. Mr. DeWald holds a B.B.A. degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Notre Dame in South Bend and is a member of its Mendoza School of Business Advisory Council.
Robert Brada, Director
Mr. Brada is a consultant and advisor to private and public companies on acquisitions, divestiture and financing strategies and to banks on entertainment industry matters. Robert was the President of Broadlane, Inc., a leading provider of outsourced services to healthcare providers. From 1995 – 2000, Robert was on the executive management team of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Inc., serving as General Counsel from 1998 to 2000 and as Deputy General Counsel from 1995 to 1998. Prior to MGM, Mr. Brada was a corporate finance lawyer at White & Case in the firm’s Los Angeles and Paris offices.
Fred Tarazi, Director
Following an extensive career in the semiconductor world, Mr. Tarazi and his partner purchased the franchise rights for Papa John's Pizza in Orange County, California in 2005. Since then, Mr. Tarazi has since grown their franchise operation to 37 locations in Southern California holding a respectable position within the Papa John's franchise network.
Mr. Tarazi's educational background is in Engineering and Business receiving his B.S. and M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering, as well as an MBA all from University of California Irvine.
Ravi Velagapudi, Director/Co-Founder:
Mr. Velagapudi is formerly the President of Rofous, Inc. and was in charge of the Company’s worldwide sales and strategy. During his tenure at Rofous, Mr. Velagapudi was instrumental in building and guiding Rofous into a leading force as a Next Generation Software services Organization. While at Rofous, Mr. Velagapudi was instrumental in establishing relations with numerous Fortune 100 and leading technology clients including Microsoft, Google, GE, Sun, Yahoo, Cisco and LinkedIn to name a few. Prior to Rofous, Mr. Velagapudi held senior executive positions at Innova Solutions.
